Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park Summer School Workshop with The Legacy List and SPACE

Last week we ran a workshop for The Legacy List and SPACE with Old Ford Primary School in which they created guardian creatures to look after the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

The Olympic Park is well known for its use of renewable energy and so we decided that we wanted to focus on solar power. In doing this we recycled small garden solar lamps, hacking the circuit and using the LEDs as ways to light up our creatures!
